Street Outreach

There is a dedicated team of officers who work with our street community every day. Case officers specialise in mental health, substance misuse and welfare needs of vulnerable people. The team visits the street community and offers help. Even if it is sometimes rejected, they keep going back to try and help.

Contact the Street Outreach team to report any concerns about the Mansfield street community.

Winter shelter

A shelter is open seven days a week in Mansfield from 1 December to the end of February. Mansfield District Council is working with Derby City Mission to provide shelter for 90 days over the coldest nights of the year. Five venues are hosting the shelter on a rota basis.

You can help by volunteering at the winter shelter. See the How you can help section for more details.
