Street Outreach

There is a dedicated team of officers who work with our street community every day. Case officers specialise in mental health, substance misuse and welfare needs of vulnerable people. The team visits the street community and offers help. Even if it is sometimes rejected, they keep going back to try and help.

Contact the Street Outreach team to report any concerns about the Mansfield street community.

Local venues supporting rough sleepers during the spread of Coronavirus are advised to use the following guidance:

Due to social distancing measures, some of our food banks and soup kitchens are closed to the public. Daily food drop offs are being co-ordinated by Mansfield District Council and the Beacon to ensure that our street community continues to be supported. We are helping to find emergency accommodation and offer an outreach service too.

If you use food banks and are in need of extra help you can contact the Nottinghamshire Community Support Hub at https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/care/coronavirus/nottinghamshire-coronavirus-community-support-hub (opens in a new window) or call 0300 500 8080.
